This 3M Cartridge/Filter 7093C is NIOSH approved and provides the highest level of protection against oil and non-oil based particles. Use interchangeably with 3M Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000 and FF-400 Series with bayonet filter holders.

3M 7093C is NIOSH approved for Hydrogen Fluoride as well as oil and non-oil based particulates. At least 99.97% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols including oils. Innovative solid-top air-inlet design creates a channeled airflow that reduces premature caking or clogging.
Use For:
- Solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances.
- Liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors.
- Metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals.
- Hydrogen Fluoride gas up to 10 times PEL. Acid gases such as Sulfur Dioxide and/or Chlorine below the OSHA PEL or applicable government standards, whichever is lower.
When properly fitted, use in a variety of applications including welding, brazing torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering and exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, MDA and HF for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces. This 3M 7093C filter also provides nuisance level protection against OV and AG exposures. Full facepieces must be quantitatively fit tested to claim assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode.
