3M Gas and Vapour Filters 6059, ABEK1 Gas and Vapour Filters protect against organic vapours with boiling points above 65°C, inorganic and acid gases and ammonia. Suitable for use with 3M Reusable Respirators featuring the Bayonet filter connection system: 3M Reusable Full Facepiece 6000 Series, 3M Reusable Half Facepiece 7500 Series, 3M Reusable Half Facepiece 6500 QL Series and 3M Reusable Halfpiece 6000 Series.
For ABEK1 breathing protection against organic vapours (boiling point above 65 °C), inorganic vapours, acid gases, ammonia and its derivatives, use 3M Gas and Vapour Filters, 6059. The filters have a brown, grey, yellow and green colour-coded label according to the EN14387 classification system to show the type of protection they provide.
These 3M lightweight 6059, ABEK1 filters combine protection with comfort, and they’re compatible with 3M range of reusable half and full-facepiece for safe working in hazardous environments. They offer low breathing resistance and good balance when connected to your facepiece, and they’re designed to optimise your field of vision.
They can be clicked into place quickly and easily, and they can be used with any 3M Reusable Facepiece that feature a bayonet-style connection. They can also be used in combination with 3M Particulate Filters 5925/5935 and 3M Filter Retainer 501.

With the implementation of the Malaysia DOSH-SIRIM PPE Certification, all 3M Reusable Respirators, Cartridges and Filters that are NIOSH US CFR approved will be transitioned to European Standard (EN) - CE Certified.
CE Certified 3M 6059 ABEK1 offers an almost equivalent level of protection as 3M 6006 NIOSH-approved for respiratory protection against multi gasses.
3M 6059, ABEK1 Filter Cartridge is intended:
- For use against certain organic gases and vapors with boiling point higher than 65℃
- For use against certain inorganic gases and vapors
- For use against sulphur dioxide and other acidic gases and vapors
- For use against ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives
3M 6059, ABEK1 is an equivalent with 3M 6006 Multi Gases Cartridge. It replaces the discontinued model of 3M Multi Gas Cartridge 6006.
