Melag MELAdoc Label Printer made manual batch documentation easier and simplified, which also facilitates the traceability of batches. MELAdoc Label Printer's labels are double-adhesive. After sterilization, clean packages containing sterilized instruments are marked by applying a label indicating approval for use. After using the instruments, the MELAdoc Label Printer can be removed from the sterilized package and stuck on the patient record. Sterilization date, batch number, person giving the approval, sterilizer used and shelf-life date can thus be assigned easily to the sterilized instruments and to the patient.
